Service that’s personal, not just transactional

Divorce / Dissolution of Civil Partnership / Separation

Divorce and separation are challenging times for both parties, which is why you can count on our support throughout the divorce process. We provide information on divorce proceedings in the UK and file applications for a preliminary divorce decree (Decree Nisi) and a final divorce decree (Decree Absolute). We help you through the procedure in the absence of an Acknowledgement of Service and problems with service. We file applications for service by e-mail or bailiff or with a request for a Decree Absolute – an absolute decree 12 months after the Decree Nisi is issued. If it is necessary to appear in court, we provide representation by a lawyer.

We provide information on whether you are entitled to file a divorce application in Poland, prepare a divorce application, and guide you through all court proceedings.

We handle cases regarding the right to live in the family home and the property division after divorce.

Financial Remedy

The question of how to divide property after divorce is a struggle for many couples; how do you avoid common mistakes and reach a mutually satisfactory decision? In reality, only a tiny proportion of cases go to court, and financial settlement in many cases can be reached through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration. Regardless of the process used, the same legal principles apply, and all require full financial disclosure from both parties.

The court has broad discretion when making financial orders in divorce and will try to achieve a fair result based on all the circumstances; however, ensuring that the needs of both parties are met is paramount and will be crucial in many cases.

How to start the process: does an English court have the power to adjudicate on property outside the UK in light of the UK leaving the EU.

We will provide information on the legal rules and procedures and guide you through the process to avoid common mistakes.
