Harassment can include a wide range of behaviour, from violence threats of violence to nuisance telephone calls and text messages. Section 42(5) of the FLA 1996 sets out the test for a non-molestation order, which states that in all the circumstances of the case, there is a need to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the applicant and the child.
A non-molestation order is intended to prevent your partner or former partner from using or threatening violence, intimidating or harassing you and your child.
We help you apply for a non-molestation order, including expedited and without notice. We prepare the documents required for court proceedings. We support you throughout the court process, including attending court or providing representation by a solicitor under direct access.
